I. Pain Points of the Target Industry
Traditional ton bags only have a top opening, making it difficult to directly access small items and layered materials inside. Unloading requires emptying the entire bag, which easily damages the goods. Ordinary soft FIBCs lack a support structure, causing the bag to collapse and deform during loading, requiring manual support and reducing labor costs and overall loading efficiency. The simple opening seal is not strong enough, making it prone to opening during logistics and transportation, resulting in spillage and poor protection. Conventional FIBCs lack multiple dedicated handling handles, making them difficult to grip and exert force during loading, unloading, and handling. Furthermore, the support structure cannot be disassembled, and empty bags cannot be folded for storage, occupying a lot of storage space. Small packaged materials are frequently transferred and handled, and repeated dumping and unloading increases material damage from impacts. Manual sorting of goods also consumes a lot of time.
II. Targeted Design Scheme
The bag features an integrated, fully open side opening on the front, with Velcro closures for quick opening and closing. Materials can be easily loaded and unloaded from the side without needing to retrieve them from the top. Special storage pockets are sewn into the four corners of the inner wall, allowing for the insertion of support plates to form detachable corner supports. Once the support plates are in place, the bag automatically stands upright. When not in use, the support plates can be removed, and the empty bag can be folded for storage. The opening employs a double-layer sealing structure, relying on the inner Velcro closure for a tight seal, and an outer full-coverage protective cap. A drawstring and buckles are used for secure locking, providing double protection against spillage during transport. Lifting handles are added to the corners of the bag and the protective cap, allowing for easy lifting and transport by a single person, while also accommodating manual handling and forklift operation.
III. Product Technical Highlights
The front-opening, side-access structure eliminates the need to tip the entire bag, allowing for direct sorting and retrieval of smaller items, reducing damage from bumps and significantly improving loading and unloading efficiency. A detachable support plate enables both self-standing and folding operation; the plate supports the bag during filling without manual assistance, and the bag can be completely folded after the plate is removed, effectively saving storage space. A double-locking structure, combining inner Velcro closure with outer drawstring clasps, ensures the opening won’t loosen during bumpy transport, preventing dust and spillage. Multiple handles provide ample gripping points, making it convenient and effortless for single or multi-person transport. The independently sewn Velcro closure allows for individual replacement of worn parts, eliminating the need to discard the entire bag and effectively reducing long-term operating costs.
