Bottom-Pallet FIBC Solution

Industry Challenges

Conventional FIBCs often require separate pallets for forklift handling. This can add binding work, create slipping risks, limit stable stacking, and increase pallet procurement and storage needs. Flat bag bottoms may also retain material after discharge.

Design Approach

A one-piece U-shaped plastic pallet assembly is embedded in the bottom of the FIBC. The integrated support plate and forklift slots allow direct handling without an additional pallet. A concave base guides material toward the central discharge hopper, while reinforced corner lifting ropes support overhead handling. Top filling and bottom discharge hoppers use drawstring closures to help manage spillage.
